Children’s Easter Activities

Newhampton Arts Centre is the place to be this Easter. We will be hosting a range of dinotastic activities designed for all ages from pre-school to big school!

Older children can get creative with wool or clay creating their very own dino eggs or prehistoric worlds whilst little ones can join us on a dino egg hunt or crafting
adventure complete with Easter bonnets!

Please note workshops have limited spaces so booking is essential
parents/carers are advised to stay for the 4 – 8yrs sessions.

Felted Dinosaur Eggs with Kanjana Nicholas
Tues 16th April – 10am-12pm for 7-13 yrs
In this creative and fun workshop you will have the chance to make 3D dinosaur eggs using the wet felting method, with white and coloured merino wool.
Admission: £3 per child

Prehistoric Plasticine Places with Lindsay Pritchard
Tues 16th April 1-3pm for 4-8 yrs
Create an imaginary 3D dinosaur world in a box complete with
textured models and scenery.

Night-time Dino Egg Hunt with Kom Achall
Wed 17th April – 10-12pm for 7-13 yrs
Create a night scene using prehistoric plants & trees where giant Eastereggs might be discovered! Use your imagination to create a story to share with the group.
Admission: £3 per child

Dino World with The Sculpture Place
Wed 17th April – 10am -12pm (7-13 yrs) & 1-3pm (4-8 yrs)
Make a mini world that a dinosaur could call home, then make your very own 3D dinosaur out of air-dry clay to live there.
Admission: £3 per child
