Dan Whitehouse plus guests

Showing: 20/08/2021 to 20/08/2021

Join us for a relaxing evening of captivating music from Wolverhampton’s very own Dan Whitehouse.

Dan has completed work on a new double album “Dreamland Tomorrow”.

‘Dreamland’ (the first disc) is a dark, brooding and intense recording, with a more experimental approach and sound palette than anything Dan has released previously. In stark contrast, the second disc ‘Tomorrow’ has Dan captured hushed and raw, in the moment by producer Boo Hewerdine, mostly voice and guitar, recorded with Jon Kelly (Kate Bush, Prefab Sprout) in London and featuring Emily Barker.

This concert will take place in ‘New Horizons’ performance space at Newhampton Arts Centre providing a safe covered outdoor space to enjoy live performance.

Plus support from Long For The Coast .

Honest, endearing, and fiercely hopeful, Totnes-via-Bristol-based indie-folk duo Long For The Coast believe that music is community; they sing stories about social change, spiritual adventures, and close friends lost and found. Jamie and Sophie Gould are known for their close-knit harmonies, straight-to-the-heart lyrics and genteel fingerpicked guitar.

“Doesn’t just grab your ears but embraces you in its nurturing warmth.” PRSD
