February Half-term Activities

Newhampton Arts Centre is the place to be this February half-term. Children can spend the day building their own robots, exploring mark making & 3D or go on a space crafting adventure. We have workshops for all ages from pre-school to big school!

Add a meal for just £2.50 or £10 for the whole week available from JESTERS CAFE!

Please note these workshops have very limited space so booking is essential

Mission to Mars!
Explore everything space in this fun crafting workshop, build your own rockets,
meet alien friends, get messy creating planets & then settle down for story time from a land far far away.
Mon 18th Feb – 10.30am-12pm (3+)

Bot-Blox by Hannah Boyd
Build & print your own funky bot designs in this colourful lego printing workshop with artist Hannah Boyd.
Tues 19th Feb – 10-11.30am (4-7yrs) & 1-3pm (7-11yrs)
Admission: £3 per child


Robo-Stamp by Jacky Fellows
In this fun printmaking workshop, you will be using a variety of everyday materials to create exciting shapes and textures & build custom Robots.
Wed 20th Feb – 10-11.30am (4-7yrs) & 1-3pm (7-11yrs)

Admission: £3 per child

 


Plasticize Droidz by Lindsay Pritchard
Have fun creating your very own wacky robot designs and bring them to life with colourful plasticine in this 2D and 3D modelling workshop.
Thur 21st Feb – 10-11.30am (4-7yrs) & 1-3pm (7-11yrs)
Admission: £3 per child


Riotous Robots by Kom Achall
Ever wanted to own a robot? In this imaginative, sci-fi workshop you create your very own Riotous Robot. What will your robot do? The possibilities are endless.
Fri 22nd Feb- 10-11.30am (4-7yrs) & 1-3pm (7-11yrs)
Admission: £3 per child
