Newhampton Arts Centre is a busy arts centre just by the city centre of Wolverhampton with a programme of music, theatre, dance and a wide range of performance and participatory arts work. We have over thirty resident creative artists and organisations onsite, and a wide range of regular groups meeting in our spaces offering everything from Bollywood Dance and youth theatre to Yoga and pilates. In April 2018 NAC joined the Arts Council’s National Portfolio and we are recruiting a Community Arts Development worker to join us in delivering our ambitious four-year NPO programme.
We are looking for a dynamic, organised and highly motivated assistant front of house duty manager to work with our small but dedicated team.
Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and a sound creative background, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people.
The role requires evening and weekend working and will be based at Newhampton Arts Centre.
Hours: 16 hours per week (at busy times additional hours may be required by agreement and will be paid at the standard rate).
Salary: £19,913.40 pro-rata
