Join Sunday Times Bestselling author Miranda Dickinson as she launches an EP of songs inspired by her third novel, It Started With a Kiss. It Started With a… Book! will unite fictional band The Pinstripes with their real-life counterparts, The Peppermints, for an exclusive evening of music, books and fun.
In a first for a UK author, Miranda has written four original songs as a ‘book soundtrack’ for her novel, which entered the Sunday Times Top 20 Bestsellers at the end of 2011 and reached the Top 5 in the Irish mass fiction charts. Inspired by the real-life wedding band she is a member of – Wolverhampton-based The Peppermints – the new songs reflect the fun and humour of the novel critics described as ‘a warm, old-fashioned romance’.
It Started with a… Book! will feature the world premiere of the EP, which will be available to buy at the event. Book early to avoid disappointment!
