Life Drawing 5 – Exploring the freshness and flowing nature of watercolour

This four-week course aims to return to the basics of drawing of the human form with a prime focus on watercolour techniques. Be enthused and take inspiration from historical and contemporary uses of watercolour and the diverse approaches of famous artists such as Rodin, Egon Shiele, Marlene Dumas, Anthony Gormley Gustave Klimt and others to blend with your own individual style.
Whether a beginner or more experienced, you will have opportunity to explore the freshness and flowing nature of watercolour wash whilst also revisiting the basics of proportion, measuring and observational skills of the model in classical pose – with much guidance and advice embedded within a friendly environment.
