Studio Hire

Rehearsal Studios

Our four rehearsal studios are designed for rehearsals, practical workshops and classes.  They are currently used for drama, dance, yoga and acoustic music.  They can also be used for break-out sessions for events in the Theatre or Meeting Rooms.

Amplified music is not suitable in the rehearsal studios. See Recording Studios below.



Rooms  1 & 2 (Studio Block) are 11.10 x 8.75m Studio 1

  • They are on the ground floor and can hold up to 40 people. 
  • 40 chairs and a minimum of 2 tables are provided.
  • Fully air-conditioned
  • White board
     


Rooms 3 & 4 (Studio Block) are 9.9 x 8.25m  Room 4
 

  • They are on the first floor with lift access and can hold up to 25 people. 
  • 20 chairs and a minimum of 2  tables are provided.
  • Fully air condtioned
  • White board
  • Hire costs are in the range of £10 - £15 per hour; £44 - £65 per day (up to 8 hours). Technical and conference facilities are not provided in these rooms. There would be an extra charge for any equipment required. All studios are air conditioned.
 
 
The Theatre  is suitable where a larger rehearsal space is required.

The Dance Studio 

Available for dance and other physical activities.
Available when not in use by our resident groups.

  • Floor size 12.50 x 9m
  • Capacity 30
  • Fan assisted ventilation and heating.
  • Full body length mirrors on 2 walls.
  • Ballet barres on 2 walls.
  • Hard sprung joist board flooring construction.
  • Crash matting available on request for physical theatre activities.
  • Ground floor access
  • Sound equipment is not included. 
     
Hours:
  • Studios are usually available from 8am - 10pm Mon - Fri and from 8am - 6pm at weekends.
  • The Theatre is available from 8am to 11pm. 

Recording Studios
The site includes two sound-proofed rehearsal and recording studios. These are run by organisations on site and bookings and enquiries should be made directly to them:
