Please take a few moments to read our event guidelines.

We’re looking forward to seeing your children for our summer of free creative activities and food in the New Horizons stage. So that we run a safe and secure event for everyone who comes please make sure to read the guidelines.

Are any of the children coming under eight?

Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times.

Are all of the children coming over eight?

We may be able to allow them to enjoy the activity itself without parent/carer supervision but parents/carers must remain onsite at NAC during the activity. Parents/carers are responsible for their children up to the advertised session start time and from the session end time.

Why can’t I book for more than one activity session on each day?

The artists are leading the same activity on each session of a day, so to allow as many different children to enjoy the activities we are asking parents not to book for more than one session per day in advance. On the day we may well be able to let you stay longer and repeat the activity if your children want to and we have places.

Are there limits on how many days I can book for?

No, but if you book for ten days and don’t attend we may contact you and ask that the place is returned to us so we can make it available to other families.

How does the food offer work?

We will have a delicious food offer available for everyone who comes including parents and carers. Please make sure that you let us know through the booking process of any allergies, diet preferences or intolerances that your children or parents/carers have and we will aim to accommodate these.

Why are you asking whether children receive free school meals?

These free activities are made possible by funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and the City Council. They are keen to make sure that the activities benefit everyone, and would help us put on future free activities. We won’t share your answer with anyone else.
