Support Us

By making a donation, offering a skill or giving some spare time, you can help NAC survive and thrive.

Why?

We aim to provide a place where everyone can enjoy, express and evolve through the arts.

  • We are unique.

We offer a unique range of cultural facilities, skills and organizations on one site.

  • We are inclusive.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to take part in creative experiences, regardless of age, background, ability or income.

  • We are creative

We provide a supportive and creative environment where new ideas can develop and flourish.

  • We are independent.

The Newhampton Arts Centre is an independent charity managed by a voluntary board of trustees. The 2015 council funding cuts mean that the future of the Newhampton Arts Centre now depends more than ever on the support of the community.

Current Projects

Community Room

NAC has worked with Woment of Wolverhampton to create an alternative space for community projects. The Community Room is a comfortable space for people who might not usually attend an arts venue. The room was made possible by volunteers from the Co-operative Association, Friends of the NAC and The Challenge (National Community Service) pictured below.  It is used regularly for drop in groups.

Paint the Day

Creative Black Country provided seed funding for a new art festival  in July, 2015, open to amateur and professional artists, which aims to engage local people in visual arts and promote the Gallery Hall as an exhibition space. Prizes were generously sponsored by Nelstar UK Ltd and Creative Framing. The project was inspired by a Friends of the NAC brainstorming event
