Following new advice and guidelines, we are putting extra measures in place to ensure your safety. We will now only be selling advance tickets (available until Saturday 12th at 12noon) to help the track and trace process and safety at arrival and exit times. No tickets will be available on the door. Please book now to avoid disappointment.

We also have a number of set safety guidelines in place on the day which we ask our audiences to follow. All ticket bookers will be notified about these before the event (via e-mail) with information also on display at the bottom of these page.

There is a dry and sunny weather forecast for the evening and we look forward to welcoming you into our courtyard space for a safe and fun outdoor cinema experience.

THE PRINCESS BRIDE (1987) Cert. PG
Director: Rob Reiner. Starring: Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Robin Wright.

Get ready to experience Wolverhampton’s new open air cinema and enjoy a cult classic or family favourite in our friendly courtyard space.

To kick off our new Courtyard Cinema programme we are showcasing a true 80’s classic and one of the greatest family films ever made, The Princess Bride is the perfect film for adults and kids alike.

Join us for an enchanting adventure as Westley sets out to rescue his true love Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck. He must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with his love. Encountering numerous obstacles, enemies and allies in his quest,
expect giants, villains, wizards and plenty of swordplay. With a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humour, The Princess Bride remains as fresh and as entertaining today as when it was first released. Originally based on the William Goldman novel “The Princess Bride” which has earned its own loyal audience over the years.

We are extremely excited to start our new venture in to outdoor cinema. All socially distanced screenings will be safely delivered in our new courtyard space. We will be asking everyone to abide by our COVID safety policies and procedures at all times, allowing you to sit back relax and enjoy the movie magic at sundown. Full details on coming soon.
