Beatsabar music project
Beatsabar Music Project is dedicated to helping the disadvantaged and disenfranchised young people of Wolverhampton become engaged in worthwhile and rewarding activities through the medium of music. Ultimately our goal is to give these young people a focus which will increase their confidence, raise their self-esteem and help them make positive changes.
Central Youth Theatre
Central Youth Theatre runs inspiring drama activities for children and young people aged 8 to 25. We believe that every young person should be encouraged to give theatrical activities a go and we pride ourselves on being a fully integrated youth theatre for people of all abilities. We run regular sessions at Newhampton Arts Centre on Sundays and Wednesdays during term time, as well as specialist sessions, trips to international theatre festivals, filmmaking opportunities, work experience placements and specialist arts career advice. An excellent alternative to college and A-levels for young people. It focuses on preparing you for your desired career in the armed forces through military fitness, knowledge, key skills and relevant qualifications.
Stagecoach Wolverhampton provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 2-18. Stagecoach Wolverhampton nurtures a wide range of talent with some of our students going on to further their training at RADA, LAMDA, Performers College, LIPA, Laine Theatre Arts, ALRA and Birmingham School of Acting. Students go on to perform professionally and also train to become teachers, some coming back and sharing their experiences at Stagecoach
Wolverhampton Social Hub is a new and exciting project with a refreshing approach to mental health and wellbeing. By helping to refocus attention on social health and social life, helping individuals to gain a mixture of benefits, such as enhanced social support, access to a range of peer-led activities and a general boost to their mental wellbeing. Social Programme: We offer a wide range of recreational activities – walks, cinema visits, coffee mornings, day trips and social outings, to help improve social health.
