A welcome back message from Trevelyan Wright, our CEO:
First of all: a huge thanks to those who have already visited us for live events under canvas in the New Horizons outdoor tent. Both the comedy gigs with Henning Wehn and our first-ever Folk Festival were fantastic events.
We have a great summer of live shows coming up in the New Horizons stage. We wanted to update you now that government guidance has changed with our new visitor guidance, so that you can visit with confidence that we will keep you safe:
All our staff will continue to wear facemasks and we will request audiences put on a mask when moving around NAC.
We will carry on with the enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures we have had in place for the past fifteen months, including hand sanitiser stations and the regular disinfectant of touch points and surfaces.
Entrance to bars, toilets and other areas will continue to be limited to COVID-safe capacities and we ask all to stick to the limits and respect other users.
We encourage all site visitors to check into our venue via NHS Test and Trace, although this is now optional. QR codes and forms will be available at our main entrance.
Lastly, our live events for August are outdoors under canvas in the New Horizons stage. If you’ve not yet visited it is a fantastic new space for live events. When we talked to our audience last year moving events outdoors was the most important thing we could do to make people feel safer…we’ve listened and the team here have worked hard to create a great space with outdoor air quality that is weather proof (tested during the second Henning When gig when the heavens opened but everyone stayed dry).
We’ve been keeping everyone safe onsite for over a year: the team here look forward to welcoming you back.
