Volunteer

If you are interested in the arts and would like to support the work of the Newhampton Arts Centre,
you can join our group of volunteers.

Volunteers help in the following ways:

1. Theatre stewards
When there are shows in the theatre, stewards collect tickets and assist visitors. If you have a geniunine interest and experience in stage management, you may also be able to help setting up shows.

2. Workshops
If you are interested in visual arts, dance or drama, you may be able to lend a hand to the professional artists running our holiday workshops. This is invaluable experience for anyone
thinking for working in the community arts field.

3. Organisation
If you have organisational skills or other relevant experience you may be able to help with the development of the Arts Centre. Our Board members are all volunteers from local community and business. There may also be opportunities in marketing and office support.
