A beautiful and magical tribute to the great Italian-American tenor and film star Mario Lanza, described by Arturo Toscanini as “the great voice of the 20th century”.
A magnificent celebration of Mario’s life told through a rich repertoire of popular songs and great operatic arias to include “Because you’re mine” “Come Prima” and Be My Love to name but a few.
Italian tenor Yuri Sabatini from Rome Italy will be joined by Tara Marisa Kelsey Mezzo Soprano & the popular midland pianist Ian Stephenson. A unique and very special concert for Mario fans and lovers of great Italian opera and the popular ballards of the 40’s /50’s that the wonderful Lanza brought to the hearts of so many.
