COVID-19 Safety

We are extremely happy to be able to welcome you back to Newhampton Arts Centre. We have missed you! Find out the steps we are taking to keep you and all our users safe from the associated risks of COVID-19.

All staff and visitors must wear a face covering indoors unless you have a valid exemption.

Track and Trace

In line with government guidance, NAC requires customer details for Test and Trace. You may use the NHS Covid-19 App and scan our handy QR code. If you unable to do that, our staff will record your name and phone number. This information is kept securely for 21 days then destroyed.

Groups and ticket bookings

Currently government guidelines say that you can sit with a maximum of six people (including children) from any number of households OR a larger party than six from a maximum of two households. Please respect these guidelines when booking. We will update our booking procedures as and when government guidance changes.

Wherever possible, we urge you to pay for tickets and refreshments using our contactless card payment machines.

Before your visit we will fully sanitise all furniture and deep clean between events. Cleaning of toilets and touch points will take place at regular intervals throughout your visit.

Hand Saintiser

There are several hand sanitising stations located in the venue but do feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. We would also ask that you wash your hands regularly.

Social Distancing

NAC may look slightly different from your last visit as we have implemented a one-way system around the venue . Staff, floor markers and signage will guide you. All visitors should maintain and respect social distancing measures.

Book with confidence

In the event of an event cancellation due to changes in government regulations, we will offer a ticket refund.

We would politely request you do not attend NAC if you have any of the following symptoms of COVID-19:

  • A high temperature,
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell and/or taste.

Other symptoms can be viewed on the NHS Website.

Please contact the box office on 01902 572090 if you have any concerns, or have been asked to isolate.

Social Distancing

Seating will be arranged in the groups which tickets were booked and in a socially distanced manner. Groups will form no more than 6.

Reduced Capacities

Fewer places are available at some events to maintain socially distanced seating arrangements. For this reason, there are also limited single seats onsale for events.

Getting Here

The New Horizons Stage is based in the NAC car park. For this reason, we can no longer offer parking on site. You may still park on Dunkley Street and the adjacent roads (no road parking on match days).

Please note, Blue Badge holders may access the small car park that remains on site. We would ask that you advise us in advance if you require this. All event areas, refreshments and toilets remain at ground level.

Latest News and Updates

We keep up to date with the latest guidelines using national and local government guidance. Remember, you can always find up to date event information from our website and social media pages.
