Dementia Art Workshops
Delivered by Art 4 All

The drop-in arts and craft workshops for people living with dementia and their companions are designed to offer an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes creativity and engagement. The workshops are open to people of any artistic abilities and aim to provide a space where everyone can come together, connect, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the arts.

Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves freely in a non-judgmental setting. They are also encouraged to work together and build connections with others, fostering a sense of community and belonging. The workshops provide an important opportunity for people living with dementia and their companions to come together, to socialize, share experiences, and support one another.

The benefits of the workshops extend beyond the artistic realm. They are designed to improve well-being and reduce stress levels, which can have a positive impact on overall health and quality of life. By providing a supportive and inclusive environment, the workshops help to reduce isolation and improve participants’ confidence and self-esteem.

Activities are for both those with dementia and there carers, either working in pairs or as individuals.

Session one: 12-1pm , 10 participants (5 people with dementia and 5 carers)

Session two: 1pm to 2 pm. 10 participants (5 people with dementia and 5 Carers)
