Embark on a creative adventure this half-term! We’re inviting all school-aged children in Wolverhampton to join us at the Newhampton Arts Centre for a week of imagination, fun, and exploration with our exciting Monsters in Nature Activity Week.
🎨 What’s On?
Every day we’ll be hosting interactive workshops where your little ones can delve into the fantastical world of Monsters in Nature. With sessions beginning at 11am and 2pm, there’s flexibility to suit your schedule. Whether your child is an aspiring artist or a budding botanist, there’s something for everyone! TUE 30 MAY – Folk of the Forest Workshop with Sam Mace.
Create collages inspired by woodland flowers & the green man to welcome summer.
WED 31 MAY – Monster Planting Workshop with Becci Belafonte
Make plant pot monsters, plant herbs & flowers using various craft materials.
THU 01 JUNE – Jelly Plate Monster Workshop with Jacky fellows
Take part in gelli plate printing using flowers collage & various craft materials.
FRI 02 JUNE – Monster Mobile Workshop with Lindsey Pritchard
Create a hanging monster mobile using various nature & craft materials.
🥘 FREE Hot Lunch for Every Child
We believe in nourishing both mind and body. That’s why, in addition to stimulating their creativity, every child will also receive a FREE hot lunch courtesy of The Arts Cafe, ensuring your child stays fuelled throughout their day of exploration and fun.

Our Monsters in Nature Activity Week is open to all school-age children living in Wolverhampton. We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can express their creativity freely.
