Calling all art enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone with a creative eye! The Newhampton Arts Centre (NAC) is thrilled to announce the return of its annual challenge, “Paint the Day Wolverhampton 2024.”

Mark your calendars! The challenge takes place over the weekend of August 3rd-4th, starting at 9:00 am. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting your artistic journey, this is your chance to capture the essence of Wolverhampton in just 24 hours!

The Challenge:

• Capture a scene within a three-mile radius of the NAC.
• Unleash your creativity using any visual art form you prefer, including drawing, painting, and photography.
• Feel free to interpret the theme in your own unique style!

Open to Everyone:

The challenge embraces artists and photographers of all ages and abilities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to:

• Test your skills and explore new artistic avenues.
• Gain inspiration from the beautiful city of Wolverhampton.
• Compete for exciting prizes!
• Showcase your artwork in a public exhibition.

Early Bird Registration:

Registration fees are kept affordable to encourage everyone to participate. Here’s the breakdown:

• Attendees to bid on original pieces from the event.
• The public to participate in a vote for their favourite artwork.
