We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to help a partnership of organisations deliver a three-year programme: Wolverhampton City of Youth Culture. ACE are investing £850,000 over three years from their Place Partnership Fund into events, training, festivals and installations all aimed at making a step-change in the cultural opportunities available to young people in the city.

The partnership is headed by ACE NPO Newhampton Arts Centre and we are now looking for a Programme Manager to help us deliver the programme. You’ll have experience of externally funded projects and how to manage them, as well as excellent communication, finance and negotiating skills to keep all of our workstreams on track and on budget.

Most of the workstreams are delivered by the project partners but the Visual Arts Trail will be delivered by a Producer reporting to the Programme Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to mix the development of a substantial creative work together with programme management.

Wolverhampton University, one of the partners, are evaluating the programme’s impact, and with them the post-holder is responsible for ensuring the reporting to ACE and other match funders is up to date and complete.

The post-holder will need to be in Wolverhampton regularly to attend events, meetings etc. but there is some flexibility in how the work is carried out.

For an informal chat about this post please email admin@newhamptonarts.co.uk

Closing date: Thursday 9 November

Interviews in Wolverhampton: Thursday 16 November.
